With the project name Red Series, Furch offers top-class guitars that are truly uncompromising in terms of the processing of materials and components. Typical of the Red Pure SR instrument is the use of beautiful Sitka spruce for the top and Indian rosewood for the back and sides. An innovative voicing process is used in the production of both tops which, in combination with the material used, gives the instrument a beautiful, versatile sound with clear and open tones. Together with a resonance-enhancing satin finish, the aesthetics of the tonewood are emphasized by a number of decorative details, in particular a redheart purfling and a koa rosette, binding and position markers. The guitar comes in an extremely durable, heat-insulated Hiscox case.

Unique voicing process

The premium character of the Red Pure SR is underlined by the fact that both the soundboard and the back plate are individually tuned using the voicing process, a technology developed by Furch that raises the tonal characteristics of the guitar to the highest level. This gives the Red Pure SR a crystal-clear, harmonically rich, balanced and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

Resonance-enhancing satin finish

The body of the guitar is covered with an ultra-thin and uniform UV full-core satin finish, designed to maximize the instrument's resonance characteristics while providing excellent protection. The basis of the finish is the high-gloss lacquer, the final layer of which is applied in a matt finish. This gives the guitar a beautiful, slightly matt appearance.
