From Passion to Business Idea

The story of Musikhaus Korn began in 2001. At that time, I had already been working as a DJ for many years. During my sets, guests and other DJs would often ask me about my equipment: What gear do I use? Where can you buy it? Which products are truly worth recommending?

These conversations sparked the idea of channeling my experience and expertise into my own business. My goal was not simply to sell gear to DJs, but to offer them high-quality products at fair prices, honest advice, and a reliable point of contact.

That’s how a company was founded in my hometown that initially specialized in selling professional DJ equipment. I wanted DJs in the region to have the opportunity not only to choose gear from a catalog, but also to test it thoroughly on-site, compare different options, and get advice from people with hands-on experience in the field.

From a Specialty DJ Store to a Full-Service Music Store

Over the years, our product range has continued to evolve. New product categories were added, our team grew, and the specialized DJ store transformed into a full-service music store that is now known far beyond Germany’s borders.
