JICO J44D DJ IMP SD Tonabnehmer with Stylus

The JICO J44D cartridge with the N44G IMP DJ SD (synthetic uncoated diamond tip) stylus delivers a vivid high-definition sound with detailed, deep, warm and fat bass and is perfect for mixing with control vinyl. It produces a wide, smooth sound with musical resonance and 3D sound image. Not only is the sound output and output power very close to the SHURE M44 cartridge, but also the tracking ability of the J44 cartridge and tracking fidelity, which is characterized by high skip resistance and low record wear. Perfectly suited for mixing, e.g. with control vinyls. It is mounted on the turntable directly on the bayonet lock of the tonearm. JICO "SD" styli are made entirely of synthetic diamonds. Synthetic diamonds (SD) are artificially produced diamonds that have the same chemical composition, crystal structure, optical/physical properties and hardness as natural diamonds (ND). Natural diamonds vary in hardness due to their natural formation, while synthetic diamonds offer the advantage of consistent hardness. The shape of the SD points is conical. Playback time has been set at 200 hours.

The J44 models of the JICO brand are a replacement for the iconic SHURE M44 cartridges.
