With the OMNIA J44A 7 IMP DJ SD, JICO simplifies the setup for turntablists all over the world. The cartridge system is already pre-mounted on a JICO headshell. It is mounted on the turntable directly on the bayonet lock of the tonearm. The Japanese-made N44-7 DJ IMPROVED SD stylus is crisp and clear in the higher frequencies. At the same time with strong bass, powerful and pronounced, it rounds off a lively, powerful and dynamic sound image. Not only the sound output and output power is very close to the SHURE M44 cartridge, but also the tracking ability of the J44 cartridge and tracking fidelity, which is characterized by high skip resistance and low record wear. Perfectly suited for scratching and beat juggling, e.g. with control vinyls. JICO "SD" styli are made entirely of synthetic diamonds. Synthetic diamonds (SD) are artificially produced diamonds that have the same chemical composition, crystal structure, optical/physical properties and hardness as natural diamonds (ND). Natural diamonds vary in hardness due to their natural formation, while synthetic diamonds offer the advantage of consistent hardness. The shape of the SD points is conical. Their guaranteed playback time has been set at 200 hours.
