JICO simplifies the setup for turntablists all over the world with the OMNIA J44A 7 IMP DJ SD. The cartridge unit is already pre-assembled on a JICO headshell. On the turntable, it is mounted directly on the bayonet lock of the tonearm. The N44-7 DJ IMPROVED SD cartridge manufactured in Japan is characterized by a crisp and clear reproduction in the higher frequencies. At the same time, it rounds off a lively, powerful and dynamic sound image with strong, powerful and pronounced bass. Not only is the sound output and output power very close to the SHURE M44 cartridge, but also the J44 cartridge's tracking ability and tracking fidelity, which is characterized by high skip resistance and low record wear. Perfectly suited for scratching and beat juggling, e.g. with control vinyls. JICO "SD" styli are made entirely from synthetic diamonds. Synthetic diamonds (SD) are artificially produced diamonds that have the same chemical composition, crystal structure, optical/physical properties and hardness as natural diamonds (ND). Natural diamonds vary in hardness due to their natural formation, whereas synthetic diamonds offer the advantage of constant hardness. The shape of the SD points is conical. Their guaranteed wearing time has been set at 200 hours.
