The Yamaha CPX 600 Old Violin Sunburst acoustic-electric guitar is designed for players seeking a clearly defined solution both on stage and when played unplugged. The Medium Jumbo body with cutaway delivers a fuller acoustic sound, while the built-in electronics—featuring SYSTEM65 and an SRT piezo pickup—support amplified playing. Anyone looking for an electro-acoustic acoustic guitar with a distinctive design and clearly defined specifications will find a precisely described model here.

Medium Jumbo Body and Materials

The Yamaha CPX 600 Old Violin Sunburst acoustic-electric guitar features a medium jumbo body with a cutaway. This body shape is one of the instrument’s key features, providing a more traditional appearance as well as a more powerful and louder acoustic tone. The larger body, in particular, supports the model’s clear tonal character and makes it especially appealing to musicians seeking a western guitar with distinct presence.

The top is made of laminated spruce, while the back and sides are made of laminated nato. These material specifications form the foundation of the construction and make the instrument’s acoustic characteristics immediately apparent. This is complemented by Rear Shifted X Bracing, Ivory & Black Binding, and an ABS & Abalone rosette. Together with the Old Violin Sunburst color and the gloss finish, the result is an instrument whose visual and structural characteristics are clearly defined.

Fingerboard and Playing Comfort

A key feature of the Yamaha CPX 600 Old Violin Sunburst acoustic guitar is its rosewood fingerboard. This is complemented by a fingerboard radius of 400 mm and dot inlays. These specifications are among the clearly defined characteristics of the instrument and make its technical profile regarding the fretboard precisely understandable.

The scale length is 634 mm, and the nut is made of urea with a nut width of 43 mm. These dimensions and material specifications complete the technical profile of the Yamaha CPX 600 Old Violin Sunburst acoustic guitar and make the instrument’s playing characteristics immediately clear. Anyone looking for an acoustic guitar with clearly specified dimensions and materials will find a precisely defined solution here.

Electronics for Stage and Amplified Applications

A key feature of the Yamaha CPX 600 Old Violin Sunburst acoustic-electric guitar is its electronic setup. The instrument is equipped with SYSTEM65 and an SRT piezo pickup. This combination is one of its key technical features and makes the guitar particularly well-suited for amplified performances on stage or in other live settings. Anyone looking for an acoustic guitar with a clearly specified pickup solution will find a precisely described setup here.

Controls for volume, 3-band EQ, mid-frequency, and a tuner are available. This electronics setup is clearly structured and complements the instrument’s acoustic design effectively. The Yamaha CPX 600 Old Violin Sunburst acoustic guitar is thus described in a factual and comprehensive manner regarding its electronic features and is aimed at anyone who values straightforward and easy-to-understand stage and plug-in capabilities.

Bridge, Hardware, and String Setup

The Yamaha CPX 600 Old Violin Sunburst acoustic guitar is equipped with a rosewood bridge. This is complemented by a urea bridge insert and black ABS pins with white dots. These features are among the explicitly listed hardware specifications and effectively round out the instrument’s construction. Chrome die-cast tuners and a transparent pickguard further enhance the instrument’s features.

The factory string set is specified as .012/.016/.024/.032/.042/.053. Together with the Old Violin Sunburst color and the gloss finish, this results in a precisely defined overall profile. Anyone looking for an electro-acoustic acoustic-electric guitar with a medium jumbo cutaway body, a spruce top, NATO back and sides, rosewood fingerboard, SYSTEM65, and SRT piezo pickup, will find the Yamaha CPX 600 Old Violin Sunburst acoustic-electric guitar to be a precisely defined model with a strong focus on both acoustic and amplified performance.
