With the Professional MPC Live II, AKAI brings a comprehensive upgrade to the first generation. Many controls have been revised and buttons have been relocated for better operability. Furthermore, the software has been further optimized and made more accessible with the 2.8 update. The buttons on the front can be used as shortcuts to certain menu items in the software to enable navigation without touching the touchscreen. In addition, more incoming sources can now be processed in parallel, greatly increasing the possibilities for sound editing. A new feature of the MPC Live 2 is the built-in stereo speaker across the entire width of the device. This enables it to be used in a wide variety of locations. This is further supported by its light weight.
