Technical Details: Two Effects, Endless Possibilities

The LAL HELIOS-II 2-in-1 Derby and Strobe Multi LED Effect offers two lighting functions in a single unit: The Derby effect is based on four RGBW LEDs, each with a power output of 3 watts. A total of 48 lenses create a wide-ranging and vivid light show that really comes to life in motion. The built-in strobe effect is generated by 16 white LEDs, each rated at 0.5 watts, and provides rapid flashes of light and rhythmic accents—perfectly synchronized with music or as visual highlights in the room.

The unit features three operating modes: automatic, music control via an integrated microphone, and DMX control. DMX control can be selected via 1 or 4 channels and is routed through 3-pin XLR inputs and outputs. The unit is configured and controlled via a digital display with four parameter buttons, which provide quick access to all functions.

With a power consumption of just 28 watts, the HELIOS-II is particularly energy-efficient, making it ideal for continuous operation at events. Power is supplied via an integrated power supply unit designed for voltages between 100 and 240 volts (50/60 Hz)—making the effect spotlight suitable for use worldwide.

The robust steel housing ensures durability and stability. Weighing just 2 kg and with compact dimensions of 261 x 186 x 142 mm, the unit is easy to transport and can be mounted flexibly. Thanks to the included hanging bracket, safety strap, IR remote control, power cable, and cable ties, the HELIOS-II can be put to use immediately and securely mounted.
