However, the combination of different technologies can also make our lives much more difficult. Apart's NETKIT devices offer the perfect solution to this problem.

The Apart NETKIT product family is designed to easily control any device with infrared (IR) or RS232 (RS, serial) control input in a local area network via tablet computers, smartphones or PCs, offering various TCP/IP connectivity options. The IR devices have three configurable inputs and outputs. All devices (IR and RS) also include an adaptive IR receiver. An integrated web server allows easy configuration via various web browsers.

From now on, cost-effective and customized control systems for Apart products and other devices with serial or infrared control interfaces can be planned and implemented. NETKIT IR/RS allow easy integration with PC, Mac, iPhone/iPod/iPad and Android devices using free available software applications. Third party software can be used for operation via home control systems, tablets or smartphones.

From now on, PCs or laptops can be connected seamlessly and serial (RS) or infrared (IR) devices can be controlled via a local area network (LAN) and the Internet. The new Apart NETKITs provide an unprecedented level of automation and flexible control, enabling the networking of devices in hotels, restaurants, conference rooms and numerous other applications.
