Audio Technica Studiomikrofon AT 2050 Product Details
The Audio Technica AT 2050 multidirectional condenser microphone is ideal for studio and live recordings with vocals, piano, string instruments, overheads, guitar amps and more. It offers three switchable directional characteristics: Omnidirectional, cardioid and figure-eight polar pattern. The equipment with two 1'' large diaphragms in capsule design preserves the precise definition of the directional characteristics over the entire frequency range (20-20,000 Hz). The AT2050 is capable of handling high SPL's (149 dB, 159 dB with 10 dB pad) with extremely low inherent noise (17 dB SPL). In addition, the diaphragms are gold-plated using Audio-Technica's patented process, ensuring that they retain their optimum characteristics for years. Both microphones have a switchable high-pass filter (80 Hz) and a 10 dB pad. The 80 Hz high-pass filter allows easy switching from linear frequency response to low-end roll-off. The high-pass position offers excellent protection against pop and "S" sounds and ensures virtually distortion-free playback at low frequencies. The XLRM output connectors of both microphones are balanced with a low impedance. Supplied accessories: tripod and protective case.
