Boss DD-8 digital Delay Product Details
The Boss DD-8 is the current delay crown jewel of the Compact series of the brand manufacturer based in Japan. It is characterized by the proven for over 40 years stability of the floor pedals with Soft-Switch as well as metal housing and requires only about 65mA current in continuous operation due to the delay chip developed specifically for the pedal. The High Headroom JFET input circuit ensures, that the pedal can be driven even with very high signal levels and does not add any unwanted distortion, which makes it ideal for use with electric guitar, electric bass and also in the studio effect loop at line level.
The 11 different delay engines offer traditional as well as modern and spherical ambient sounds from classic analog and tape echo to various digital delays, shimmer, reverse and phrase looper sounds with 20 or 40 seconds (stereo vs. mono) recording time.
