The solid Sitka spruce top delivers an assertive sound with brilliant highs, clear mids and defined basses - ideal for powerful strumming and dynamic flatpicking. Mahogany for the back and sides adds depth and warmth to the sound and ensures a round, balanced frequency spectrum. The scalloped X-bracing supports the top optimally in its vibration and contributes to an open, resonant tone.

Dreadnought with slope shoulder - powerful and comfortable

The special slope shoulder construction gives the classic dreadnought shape a more ergonomic silhouette, which nestles comfortably against the body while retaining the powerful sound character. The glued neck joint ensures stability and direct vibration transmission between the neck and body - an important factor for sustain and fullness of tone.

Mahogany neck with ovangkol fingerboard

The neck is made of mahogany and, together with the ovangkol fingerboard, offers a balanced playing feel. The scale length of 628 mm and the nut width of 43 mm make the instrument equally comfortable for chord playing and fine melody lines. 20 neatly finished frets and white dot inlays ensure good orientation and playing comfort across the entire fingerboard.

Vintage look with functional details

The sunburst finish gives the guitar a classic look with retro charm. The concentric rings around the sound hole, the cream-colored binding and the vintage tuners with plastic buttons stylishly round off the visual design. The bone nut and the bone bridge inlay contribute to optimum sound transmission and noticeably improve intonation and response.

For amplified use, the Earth 100 SSF is equipped with a Fishman Sonitone system. This preamp system sits inconspicuously in the sound hole and offers quick access to volume and tone control. It authentically transmits the natural acoustic tone and is perfect for use with amplifiers, PAs or audio interfaces - without detracting from the classic look of the guitar.
