With the Gold Series Cort introduces a fully solid acoustic guitar series with thermally treated ("torrified") tops and bracing. "Age To Vintage" is the name Cort gives to this process, which mimics the aging process of the soundboard over the decades. So you get from the beginning this wonderful full, rich in overtones and balanced sound, which you know from old, well played instruments. The very thin UV varnish of the Gold Series supports the excellent vibration characteristics of the guitar. In addition, as another important element for the best possible sound, the "Doublelock Neckjoint" was developed, which improves the vibration transmission by means of additional bolting of the neck to the body.
