The Gold OC6 is the latest model of the Gold Series and is aimed at all guitarists who are looking for a compact and comfortable acoustic guitar with preamp. With the Gold Series Cort introduces fully solid acoustic guitars with thermally treated ("torrified") tops and bracing. "Age To Vintage" is what Cort calls this process, which mimics the aging process of the top over the decades. So you get from the beginning this wonderful full, rich in overtones and balanced sound, which you know from old, well played instruments. The very thin UV varnish of the Gold Series supports the excellent vibration characteristics of the guitar. In addition, as another important element for the best possible sound, the "Doublelock Neckjoint" was developed, which improves the vibration transmission by means of additional bolting of the neck to the body.
