A unique high-carbon steel alloy, new wire winding methods and an elaborate coating process have resulted in a string that has increased its performance in all respects. The strings are ready to play immediately after stringing and do not have to be stretched for a long time. In addition, they are 30% more tear-resistant, have extremely long tuning stability and deliver a higher output. Developed and manufactured in New York, D'Addario has now launched an electric guitar string that is more tear-resistant, tuning stable and durable than all its predecessors. These strings are harder, more biting, louder and more enduring than anything that has gone before. The magnetic permeability has been increased by 6%. This means that there is a significant increase in performance in the frequency range of 1-3.5 kHz. The higher magnetic power opens up new and varied possibilities for playing.
