Unlike software plugins, the Big Muff Pi hardware plugin uses actual analog hardware. Your signal is routed through real transistors, diodes and hand-picked components - not simulated. The result is a characterful, lively sound that is far superior to software solutions. Ideal for producers, guitarists and sound designers looking for the best of both worlds.

Full DAW integration & interface function

The Big Muff plugin works like a classic VST/AU plugin and is compatible with all major DAWs such as Pro Tools®, Logic Pro X®, Ableton Live®, Cubase®, GarageBand®, Reaper® and more. Simply connect via USB, open the plug-in window, select a track - and your signal flows through real analog circuits. The device also serves as a 2-in/2-out USB audio interface, either with or without effect active.

Stand-alone pedal & preset memory

Of course, the Big Muff Pi hardware plugin can also be used as a classic floor effect pedal. Up to 10 storable presets are available via the footswitch - perfect for live situations. Thanks to Tone Wicker, treble filters can be activated, while Tone Bypass turns the sound up to the maximum. Another new feature is the true stereo circuit, which takes the Big Muff into previously unimagined spaces.
