Electro-Harmonix Lizard King - Bass Octave Fuzz Pedal
The Lizard King from Electro-Harmonix is the new heir to the throne of bass fuzz pedals. Inspired by the acclaimed EHX x JHS Lizard Queen collaboration, this pedal was developed specifically for bassists - with a mercilessly powerful octave fuzz sound that simultaneously preserves low frequencies and shapes the treble-rich fuzz in a targeted manner.
Octave fuzz meets low-end power
The Lizard King offers a fixed gain level and reacts extremely dynamically to the input volume. Lower levels produce warm overdrive sounds, while full volume unleashes a brute fuzz thunderstorm - ideal for solid bass riffs or striking solos. The combination of fat octave distortion and clearly defined depth makes this pedal unique in the mix.
Customizable with SUN/SHADOW switching
The BLEND control mixes the original signal with the fuzz sound - from 100 % clean to 100 % fuzz. The TONE control acts as a low-pass filter and tames the highs of the fuzz. The OCTAVE control can be used to add the octave signal continuously - for classic, retro-inspired fuzz textures.
The SUN/SHADOW switch can be used to further adjust the sonic behavior:
- SUN: More mids in the fuzz, more treble and bass in the clean signal
- SHADOW: Tighter fuzz sound, neutral clean signal

Whether for funky breakbeats, dirty stoner riffs or psychedelic experiments - the Lizard King brings color, character and an unmistakable sound to the bass board. Thanks to true bypass, the signal remains completely unaffected in bypass mode. A 9V battery is already included in the scope of delivery, a 9V power supply can be used as an alternative.
