Digitakt II is a digital drum computer and stereo sampler that offers many times the performance - and sonic possibilities - of its predecessor. Although the shape and playfulness of the Digitakt II are familiar, there is much more power under the hood. And this power is available to you with every sound. The drums aren't all it can do. There are plenty of melodic and harmonic possibilities for you to play with, not least thanks to the revised sample library right out of the box.

Transport yourself to another sampling dimension. Preserve or distort reality at will with 16 tracks of samples in stereo, mono or MIDI. Take advantage of powerful versions of classic features and a whole host of new functions via an updated modular workflow and advanced sequencer. And with enough storage space for a lifetime of samples and the ability to take them on sonic adventures, your potential for creating sound montages will know no bounds.

The Digitakt experience has evolved to offer an even more modular approach to sound creation. Mix and match the layers of your soundscape with one of the five different sample manipulation engines. Break samples down into precise fragments with the Grid, or venture into new sonic realms with Werp. Use Repitch or Stretch to adjust your sample to the beat, and of course there's One Shot for crisp drum hits and sounds. Choose from several interchangeable filters for each track. One filter is set as a basic/width filter, the others let you switch between Multi-Mode, Low Pass 4, Comb, EQ or Legacy LP/HP. There's also a filter envelope and a separate amp envelope with ADSR - for more definition and control - and AHD - ideal for the short barks of percussion. Three LFOs per track give you the opportunity to let off steam in the world of modulation. Try out different waveforms and destinations. Subtle or fancy, both can be wonderful.
