Ernie Ball Medium Scale Bass Strings use the same production methods and materials as our popular Slinky Nickel Wound bass strings. With the same Slinky feel and clear, balanced tone, these strings were developed specifically for basses with a scale length of up to 32.5" (82.55 cm), but also fit basses with a shorter scale length and string-through bridge, for example vintage Fender Mustangs.
