EV Electro Voice Everse 8 Raincover

The EVERSE 8 with the rain cover installed complies with protection class IP44, but only in the upright and rear-facing position and only when used correctly in accordance with these instructions. If the device is left outside for long periods of time, some water may collect on the underside of the rain cover. Remove the speaker from the bag so that both can dry properly. When using the rain cover, the weatherproof entrance cover is optional to achieve an IP44 rating.

Weather protection

When the rain cover is installed, the EVERSE 8 speaker is weatherproof to IP44 standard, but not waterproof. Weather resistance can be affected by damage, repair, improper disassembly and normal wear and tear. Check the EVERSE 8 and accessories before and after each use. Allow the speaker and components to dry before storage or between uses. The EVERSE 8 speaker with rain cover fitted is intended for temporary use in wet or humid environments only. The speaker is not intended to be exposed to moisture for extended periods of time. Do not expose it to salt water or splashing water, do not expose it to chlorine and do not use it in environments with high chlorine content.
