The Player II Mustang® Bass PJ embodies pure timeless Fender charm. Under the hood, it's ultra-modern. Every detail is designed for smooth playability. The modern C-profile neck with a silky urethane finish on the back has a maple or rosewood slab fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, gently rounded edges and 20 medium jumbo frets. The classic alder body is available either in the popular timeless Fender finishes - or in completely new historic colors that Fender has just retrieved from the archive. Thanks to the Player Series Alnico V P Bass® split-coil and J Bass® single-coil pickups, you can practically play two basses in one, with sweet highs, growling mids and earth-shaking lows. Both pickups can be switched via a 3-way toggle. An adjustable bridge with four individual notched steel string saddles and open tuners keep the strings where they belong.
