Furch Red Deluxe Gc-LR Westerngitarre

The Red Deluxe LR is the proverbial icing on the cake in the Furch product range. It has a top made of premium alpine spruce and back and sides made of Indian rosewood. The combination of these materials, together with the highly developed production technologies, gives the instrument a beautiful, multi-layered sound with clear and bright nuances. Both sides are complemented by the ergonomic bevel duo made of koa, which offers maximum comfort even when playing for long periods. The aesthetics of these tonewoods are accentuated by a resonance-enhancing high-gloss finish and a range of decorative details such as the binding and premium rosette made of koa, the abalone inlay and the Roman mother-of-pearl numerals on the fingerboard. The guitar is supplied in an extremely sturdy, thermally insulated Hiscox case.

Unique intonation process

The premium character of the Red Deluxe LR is underlined by the fact that both the soundboard and the back plate are individually tuned using the voicing process, a technology developed by Furch that raises the tonal characteristics of the instrument to the highest level. This gives the Red Deluxe LR a crystal-clear, harmonically rich, balanced and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

Resonance-enhancing finish

The instrument is protected by the patented Full-Pore High-Gloss finish, which was developed to improve the tonal characteristics of the guitar. The finish consists of a wafer-thin, highly resistant layer of lacquer that provides excellent surface protection while emphasizing the structure of the wood.

Bevel Duo for added comfort

The ergonomic Bevel Duo feature, consisting of two bevels - one at the front, on the forearm, and one at the back, at the rib position, provides a significant increase in playing comfort and also enhances the exclusive appearance of the instrument. Bevel Duo is made of koa.

Furch CNR System® neck construction

A high-precision, double-acting truss rod ensures the stability of the neck and allows fine adjustment of the neck relief on both sides. The truss rod is housed in a high-strength carbon body that allows for very smooth and controlled neck relief, ensuring the best playability and providing an optimal setup.
