Gibraltar SC-BDPM Bass Drum Raiser

Gibraltar SC-BDPM Bass Drum Raiser – Perfect height adjustment for small bass drums

The Gibraltar SC-BDPM Bass Drum Raiser is the ideal solution for drummers who want to position their small bass drums optimally. With a height of about 50 mm, this practical raiser elevates the bass drum to an ergonomically optimal height, ensuring a powerful, consistent strike from the beater.

Whether in the studio, on stage, or in the rehearsal room—this small but effective accessory makes a significant contribution to the overall sound and playing feel. The Gibraltar SC-BDPM Bass Drum Raiser is especially helpful when playing compact drum sets with smaller shells, such as in jazz or with portable setups.

Technical Details of the Gibraltar SC-BDPM Bass Drum Raiser

The Gibraltar SC-BDPM Bass Drum Raiser was specifically designed to raise smaller bass drums to the ideal playing height. The approximately 50 mm lift ensures that the bass drum pedal’s beater strikes the drumhead centrally—a crucial factor for a clean sound and optimal response.

The robust design guarantees stability and durability, even with intensive use. The durable metal construction ensures a secure hold on the bass drum and prevents it from slipping during play. Thanks to the clever clamping mechanism, installation is particularly easy and requires no tools—saving time during setup and offering flexibility on stage or in the studio.

The SC-BDPM is compatible with bass drums ranging from 18" to 20" in diameter, making it ideal for integration into compact drum sets. Jazz drummers and mobile musicians who work with smaller drums, in particular, benefit from this simple yet effective solution.

Why the Gibraltar SC-BDPM Bass Drum Raiser Is a Worthwhile Investment

A well-thought-out setup is the foundation for a comfortable playing experience and consistent sound. The Gibraltar SC-BDPM Bass Drum Raiser helps significantly improve the playing position of the bass drum without requiring extensive modifications or special drum shells.

Especially with smaller bass drums, the beater’s contact point is often too high, which can lead to an uneven sound. Raising the drum optimizes this contact point—resulting in a richer sound with better response. In addition, playing comfort is enhanced, as the pedal feels more natural and responsive.

The SC-BDPM is not only functional but also extremely practical for everyday use. Its compact design, light weight, and ease of use make it the ideal companion on tour or when frequently changing venues. For drummers who want to get the most out of their kit, this raiser is an absolute must-have.
