Ibanez AAD51CE-NT Natural High Gloss Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Are you looking for a modern acoustic guitar that combines classic acoustic tone with innovative design and exceptional playability? The Ibanez AAD51CE-NT Natural High Gloss Acoustic Guitar from the Advanced Acoustic Series was developed with exactly this in mind. It’s designed for ambitious players as well as experienced guitarists who expect a dynamic, balanced tone and a contemporary playing feel.

With its newly developed Grand Dreadnought body, high-quality tonewoods, and sophisticated electronics, this acoustic guitar offers an inspiring acoustic experience—both unplugged and amplified. The natural high-gloss finish emphasizes its elegant appearance and beautifully highlights the wood’s natural grain.

Advanced Acoustic Design for Greater Sonic Depth

The Advanced Acoustic series marks a bold new direction in Ibanez’s acoustic guitar craftsmanship. The goal was to achieve a richer, more brilliant sound with exceptionally wide dynamic range. At the heart of the Ibanez AAD51CE-NT is the solid Sitka spruce top, which delivers a wide frequency range with clear highs, focused mids, and rich lows.

The top is complemented by a sapele back and sides, which lend the sound additional warmth and fullness. The newly developed X-M bracing design optimizes vibration transmission within the body and ensures a balanced, powerful tone with high projection.

High-Level Playability and Ergonomics

The Low Oval Grip neck made of okoumé allows for relaxed chord playing and comfortable handling along the entire length of the neck. With a scale length of 650 mm (25.6"), the guitar offers a familiar playing feel that is ideally suited for both strumming and fingerstyle.

The Purpleheart fingerboard is not only visually striking but also enhances the instrument’s clear, defined tone. The Advanced Access Cutaway ensures effortless access to the high frets, while the tapered headstock improves tuning stability thanks to a straight string path.

Innovative Monitoring and Thoughtful Details

A special highlight is the A.I.R.port, which directs sound waves specifically toward the player. This allows you to hear yourself more clearly and directly—a major advantage when practicing, rehearsing, or performing live without monitoring.

The Purpleheart bridge and Ibanez Advantage™ pins ensure efficient resonance transfer and make changing strings easier. For amplified use, the guitar is equipped with an Ibanez T-Bar undersaddle pickup and the AEQ-TP2 preamp, which features a 2-band EQ and a built-in tuner.

Conclusion: A modern acoustic guitar with a natural tone

The Ibanez AAD51CE-NT Natural High Gloss acoustic guitar combines modern design, high-quality materials, and innovative features into a harmonious package. It offers a powerful, detailed tone, high playability, and versatile applications—ideal for the stage, studio, and living room. An acoustic guitar that convincingly blends tradition and innovation.
