Ibanez AC390MHE-OPN Open Pore Natural Acoustic Guitar

Are you looking for an acoustic guitar with a sophisticated look, warm tone, and stage-ready electronics? The Ibanez AC390MHE-OPN in Open Pore Natural combines solid tonewoods, balanced ergonomics, and well-thought-out features into an expressive instrument—ideal for discerning musicians who want to blend classic tonal tradition with modern performance.

With its compact Grand Concert body, solid mahogany top, and elegant “Tree of Life” fretboard inlay, this guitar combines acoustic depth, playing comfort, and aesthetic sophistication into a perfectly harmonious package.

Warm, defined tone thanks to high-quality woods

The AC390MHE-OPN features a solid African mahogany top, which delivers a rich, warm tone with pronounced mids and clear highs. The back and sides, crafted from the same wood, reinforce this harmonious character and give the guitar a round, acoustically balanced fundamental tone—perfect for fingerstyle, chord playing, and soft strumming.

The mahogany neck enhances the instrument’s tonal warmth and, with its AC neck profile, feels comfortable in the hand. The rosewood fretboard complements the sound with clear definition and focused mids. Visually, the artistic “Tree of Life” inlay adds a stylish highlight to the fretboard and headstock.

Perfect for the stage & studio—thanks to professional electronics

For amplified performances, the guitar is equipped with the Ibanez T-Bar undersaddle pickup. This pickup transmits the instrument’s natural sound with high precision. The AEQ-TP2 preamp with built-in tuner and 2-band EQ offers full control over the sound—ideal for live performances, recording, or the rehearsal room.

The rosewood bridge and the Ibanez Advantage™ pins ensure excellent resonance transmission while also making it easier to change strings. The bone nut, which is 45 mm wide, improves intonation and provides more space between the strings, especially for fingerstyle playing.

Conclusion: Stylish sound with well-thought-out features

The Ibanez AC390MHE-OPN is an acoustic guitar for musicians who want an instrument that combines a warm, full-bodied sound, comfortable playability, and stylish aesthetics. Whether you’re practicing, on stage, or in the studio—this guitar impresses with its natural response, elegant details, and professional sound transmission.
