Ibanez AJ7012M1E-BK Black High-Gloss 12-String Acoustic Guitar

Ibanez AJ7012M1E-BK Black High Gloss 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar

With the Ibanez AJ7012M1E-BK, Ibanez presents a high-performance 12-string acoustic guitar featuring a solid top, a dynamic sound spectrum, and stage-ready electronics. The powerful jumbo body delivers high volume, a full low end, and broad presence, while high-quality woods and a comfortable design provide an inspiring playing experience—ideal for rhythm guitarists, songwriters, and live performances.

The Black High Gloss Finish gives the guitar an elegant, classic look, while thoughtful features like the AEQ-TP2 preamp and Ibanez Advantage™ pins ensure easy operation and reliable performance.

Rich, full-bodied tone with clear definition

The guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top, which delivers a brilliant, dynamic tone with assertive highs, clear mids, and rich lows. Okoumé for the back and sides complements the tonal character with additional warmth and depth—ideal for the rich sound you expect from 12-string models.

Stable playing feel & high-quality craftsmanship

The Nyatoh neck with AJ profile offers consistently high playing stability and comfort. Combined with the laurel fingerboard, this results in a direct, defined tone with a clear attack—perfect for precise chord playing and rhythmic accompaniment. The 648 mm (25.5") scale length and the 48 mm nut width provide ample space for the 12-string action—without compromising playing comfort.

Ready for the stage with clear pickup performance

Equipped with the Ibanez T-Bar undersaddle pickup, the AJ7012M1E-BK delivers natural and precise sound reproduction. The AEQ-TP2 preamp offers a 2-band EQ for tone control as well as a built-in tuner—ideal for live performances and recordings. The intuitive controls right on the instrument make setup and adjustment to any playing environment easy.

Practical Features for Everyday Use & the Stage

A Laurel bridge ensures direct vibration transfer, while the Ibanez Advantage™ pins allow for quick and secure string changes. The glossy polyurethane finish reliably protects the instrument and ensures a durable surface with a sophisticated look.

Conclusion: Powerful 12-string for stage & studio
