Ibanez EHB1506MS-ABL Bass Workshop 6-Str Antique Brown Stained Multi Scale

The headless construction and the special design of the EHB body allow the player a similar playing position when sitting or standing. The upper half of the back of the body is beveled so that the bass is slightly closer to the player's body, allowing for better control and a more ergonomic playing feel. The contoured, ergonomic design and chambered body make for a light, balanced and comfortable instrument that's great for long sets or practice sessions. A stunning poplar burl top and a select, lightweight African mahogany body provide a warm tone with rich resonance. There is an additional notch on the back of the body behind the lower horn to facilitate access to the upper frets. The 9-piece panga panga/walnut neck with the panga panga fingerboard ensures outstanding tone response, tight basses and more sustain. Luminescent dot inlays on the sides ensure clear visibility in dark environments. The Vari-mid 3-band EQ features a variable mid-frequency control that allows you to dial in an incredibly wide range of sounds. There is also an EQ bypass switch for passive operation, with the treble control acting as a passive tone control when the EQ is bypassed. The MR5HS bridge was designed specifically for the EHB basses and offers a wide intonation range. Each bridge section is independently and securely connected to the body to ensure maximum vibration transmission. The saddles are adjustable for a string spacing of +/-1.5mm to suit the individual requirements of each bassist, regardless of their playing style. Teflon washers are used on each tuner for a smooth tuning action.
