Musikhaus Korn Dresden

We permanently closed our Dresden location in August 2026. The last regular day of business was August 7, 2026. This decision was extremely difficult for us to make. It was reached only after a long and careful review of all options. We regret this step all the more because many customers in Dresden have been with us for many years and have remained loyal to our store.

In recent years, it has become increasingly difficult to operate the Dresden location profitably. Rising personnel, rent, and operating costs were compounded by declining foot traffic in brick-and-mortar retail and a fundamental shift in shopping behavior. Customers often take advantage of in-store personal advice and the opportunity to try out products, while the subsequent purchase is made online. However, the running costs of the brick-and-mortar store remain unchanged. Under these circumstances, it was unfortunately no longer possible for us to continue operating the store profitably in the long term.

Musikhaus Korn will, of course, continue to be there for you. Our main location in Oschatz is only about 60 kilometers from Dresden. There, our Dresden customers will continue to have access to our extensive product range, expert advice, and comprehensive services. In addition, we ship orders to Dresden quickly and reliably, so you can continue to receive our products conveniently.

Our online store for musical instruments, KORNSOUND event technology, the DJ shop, and KORN Case Construction will also continue to operate as usual.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the long-standing loyalty and trust shown to us at our Dresden location. We look forward to continuing to serve our Dresden customers in the future—online, by phone, and in person at our main location in Oschatz.
