We will be permanently closing our branch in Leipzig-Connewitz at the end of June 2026. The last day of regular trading was 12 June 2026. This decision was not an easy one for us to make and was only taken after a long and thorough review. We deeply regret having to take this step, as our customers in Leipzig have supported us for many years.

In recent years, rising costs, declining footfall in high street retail and changing shopping habits have placed an increasing strain on our branch in Leipzig. Many customers make use of in-store advice and the opportunity to try out products, but then go on to make their purchases online. At the same time, staff, rent and operating costs remain. As a result, it is unfortunately no longer economically viable to operate the branch in the long term.

Musikhaus Korn will, of course, continue to operate. Our main branch in Oschatz is only around 60 km from Leipzig and will continue to offer our Leipzig customers advice, service and our product range in the future. Furthermore, we can dispatch goods to Leipzig quickly and reliably, so ordering remains straightforward.

Our online music instrument shop, KORNSOUND event technology, the DJ shop and KORN Case Construction will also continue as before. We would like to express our sincere thanks for your long-standing loyalty to our Leipzig branch and look forward to continuing to serve our customers in Leipzig in the future.
