The N44-7 DJ SD stylus is crisp and clear in the higher frequencies. At the same time with strong bass, powerful and pronounced, it rounds off a lively, powerful and dynamic sound image. This stylus is perfect for scratching and beat juggling applications, e.g. with control vinyls. JICO "SD" styli are made entirely of synthetic diamonds. Synthetic diamonds (SD) are artificially produced diamonds that have the same chemical composition, crystal structure, optical/physical properties and hardness as natural diamonds (ND). Natural diamonds vary in hardness due to their natural formation, while synthetic diamonds offer the advantage of consistent hardness. The shape of the SD points is conical. Their guaranteed playback time has been set at 200 hours.
The JICO N-44 7 DJ SD replacement stylus is suitable for the JICO J44A-7 system and as a replica also suitable for the Shure M447 pickup system.
