The Korg BM-1 is a compact Bluetooth® MIDI interface that wirelessly connects classic MIDI devices with 5-pin DIN connectors to modern Bluetooth-enabled devices such as iPads, iPhones, Macs or Windows PCs. Whether in the studio, in the rehearsal room or live on stage - the BM-1 enables MIDI communication without tangled cables, opening up completely new creative possibilities.

Wireless MIDI freedom for classic devices

With the BM-1, you can easily connect analog synthesizers from the 80s, MIDI keyboards or digital pianos to your DAW or tablet wirelessly. The main adapter (MIDI OUT) also works individually if your MIDI device only has one output. Thanks to Plug & Play, the system is ready for immediate use - without driver installation or additional power supply.

Automatic connection and clever app control

After switching on, the BM-1 automatically recognizes compatible BLE MIDI devices in the vicinity and connects automatically. The free KORG BM-1 app for iOS/iPadOS also allows you to create groups of up to five BM-1s so that multiple devices can communicate wirelessly with each other - ideal for complex live setups or creative studio applications.

Compact, flexible and fully bus-powered

The BM-1 does not require its own power source. It is powered directly via the MIDI output of the connected device (5V or 3.3V). The two adapters are connected by a flexible cable, which ensures easy installation even where MIDI ports are tight. The range is up to 20 meters in free space - ideal for wireless stage applications.
