Korg Keystage 49

The Keystage by KORG is the ultimate MIDI keyboard for live and studio applications. Its 49-key semi-weighted keyboard offers velocity, channel and polyphonic aftertouch, as well as MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) compatibility. Due to the support of the MIDI 2.0 standard, it is also possible for the Keystage to communicate bi-directionally with software and hardware instruments. In this way, for example, when using MIDI 2.0-compatible instruments, their most important parameters are automatically mapped to the eight knobs of the Keystage. In addition, the names of these parameters as well as their values are shown on the OLED displays below the respective knobs and matched in real time. Since the Keystage is backwards compatible, it can also be used to control classic MIDI devices that do not yet support the MIDI 2.0 standard. The Keystage is compatible with most popular DAWs and also offers particularly deep integration with KORG Gadget as well as Ableton Live. Due to the internal USB audio interface, it can also be easily connected to a computer and sound system without any additional peripherals, which is invaluable especially for live use. Also on board are a sophisticated arpeggiator and an inspiring chord mode that allows you to recall pre-determined chords via individual keys. The slim and lightweight case allows for easy transport, but at the same time has the necessary stability for the often punishing everyday life on stage. Included is a handy accessory tray that can be mounted at two different angles and provides ample space for smart devices or a tablet. The software package, which is also included, includes the KORG Gadget Producer Bundle, wavestate native LE, and Ableton Live Lite, among others.
