M-Audio Hammer 88 Pro

M-Audio launches the Hammer 88 Pro, a professional MIDI controller keyboard that is ideal for studio applications and live sessions, due to its flexible use, as well as universal assignability, is suitable. As already described in the name, the MIDI controller is equipped with 88 fully balanced hammer action keys, aftertouch and assignable zones. Furthermore, you'll find 16 backlit as well as assignable and velocity-sensitive RGB pads with note repeat for beat production and clip launching. Also available are 8 assignable encoders (knobs) and buttons, as well as 9 assignable faders for virtual instrument control, mix plug-ins and DAW operation.

The OLED screen, facilitates operation and gives full control when searching for sounds, controls and mixing possibilities. On the rear panel, in addition to the USB-MIDI interface, a connector for the optional power supply, MIDI IN and Out for connecting additional MIDI devices, as well as sustain, expression and foot pedal connections.

Convenient Smart Controls make composing easier than ever. When Smart Chord is enabled, you can play an entire chord with a single key or pad. With Smart Scale, on the other hand, all keys that are not on the set scale are muted so that no "wrong" notes get lost in the melody. The integrated arpeggiator also gives control for type, octave, gate and swing.

On top of that comes a huge software package for free. This includes MPC Beats and Ableton Live Lite, as well as 7 virtual instruments from AIR MusicTechnology (Hybrid, Velvet, Mini Grand, Xpand!2, Vacuum, Boom, DB-33) and 9 MPC Beats expansion packs.
