With a subtle tribute to traditional jazz greats, Jeff Hamilton has created a hybrid of vintage drum feel and modern precision and articulation with the "Maximus". To accommodate even the most dynamic playing, the 6-inch deep 100% mahogany shell has been fitted with a special snare bed. Warm, fat sound meets a sensitive, fast response, for use in both rock bands and small jazz ensembles.
