Marshall PEDL90008 Vierfach-Fußschalter für MG-FX Product Details
The foot switch PEDL90008 is with the models of the Marshall MGIV-Serie compatible. Please note, that it can not be used for other amplifiers.
The most important thing isn't only to have sonically flexible amplifiers at the start for stylistically versatile guitarists. Also that important is that the sounds of these amplifiers can also be selected for practical use.The Non-Plus-Ultra of the foot switch technology comes from the house Marshall. For the programming possibilities of foot switches, had Marshall granted a worldwide patent. The PEDL90008 subject that patent and offers the user the possibility to be determined at will, which of its four foot switches takes over what function.
What can I do for you - Do you want to copy the switching functions of the Amps or you want to retrieve the full presets ? Or both ? Each button of the PEDL90008 can take a switching function of the MG-Amps as required, or even retrieving the own preset including all the switch functions and regulations (Except master volume).Of course, these functions can also be mixed at will, also for example: three presets and FX On/Off switch on the fourth switch. It can't be more comfortable. In the factory setting of the amplifiers, the switching functions are: 1st Switch: Clean/Crunch2nd Switch: OD1/OD23rd Switch: FX on/off4th Switch: Tuner and mute switch on/off
The foot switch functions will be saved in the amplifier, so if necessary, a replacement foot switch without re-programming can be used.
Of course it isn't a problem for you to listen to the sound you just choose. It's a good feeling to see everytime using the function displays of your foot switch, which chanel you've just choosen, if the effects are activated, and if the hall or other intern effects are in operation. In addition, the current delay time is visualized by the TAP LED flashing. In tuner mode, this function will serve.Despite its extensive features will the PEDL90008 connect to your MG-amplifier with a simple toggle cable (And this doesn't even need to be shielded). The data transmission of the amplifier works digital, even if the amp itself delivers official, analog sounds !And also the voltage supply for the electronics of the foot switch, the tuner and the displays do not need a battery, it will be directly supplied by the Amp itself. This provides for operational reliability and stress-free setup before the gig.
A tuner won't be needed on the amplifier but on the stage, directly on the switch central of the amp. Therefore a practical automatic tuner was integrated into the pedal PEDL90008.Automatic means, that you can directly without switching between the single sounds, a display for the sound being played. The intergrated tuner (with solid 440 HzReference for the "a") works chromatic, and shows the played note on the display.Even with "Sharp"-LED to increase by a semisound. The 5 LEDs of the funktiondisplay gives you the opportunity of a fine tune. As indicated above, the tuner function can be also used by a foot switch, While simultaneously providing a mute circuit of the amplifier.
