The NUX Hook Drum & Loop (NDL-3) is a mini looper and drum computer pedal that allows you to create guitar/bass loops intuitively and with musical ease. In addition, the pedal offers 11 different rhythm patterns with which you can jam, compose or arrange extensively. The playback volumes of the loop section and the rhythm section can be adjusted independently of each other with two separate volume pots. The looper allows up to 6 minutes of recording time with an unlimited number of overdubs (layering of loops).

The footswitch controls the looper functions, while the rhythm switch on the top of the pedal starts or stops the rhythm patterns. The rhythm switch also has a smart tape tempo function to program the tempo at the touch of a finger. But this is usually not even necessary, because the pedal automatically recognizes the tempo of the loop that is currently being played!

The headphone output in mini-jack format offers a practical option for practising quietly, and the headphone volume can also be adjusted accordingly. The loops can be imported and exported in WAV format (44.1 kHz / 24-bit mono) and the pedal's firmware can be updated via the USB-C port.
