The NUX Queen of Tone Over drive pedal combines two of the most popular overdrive circuits in the guitar world in one compact housing. It was specially developed for guitarists who rely on the sonic interplay of stacked overdrives to shape their personal sound DNA. In the left corner: the Horseman - a tribute to the famous Centaur pedal. In the right corner: the Morning Star - inspired by the classic Bluesbreaker circuit. Both sections offer additional modes with which you can expand your sound spectrum.

Technical details of the NUX Queen of Tone
The pedal consists of two completely independent overdrive circuits: Horseman (left) and Morning Star (right). The Horseman is based on the legendary Centaur circuit and offers two operating modes: Gold Mode for the classic transparent sound and Silver Mode - a more powerful version with an extended gain range. The mode is changed by pressing and holding the footswitch.
Morning Star is based on the classic blues breaker circuit and delivers a clear, slightly distorted sound with high dynamics. Holding down the footswitch activates the SHINE mode, which boosts the treble range and gives your tone additional presence.
Another highlight is the routing function, which allows you to freely select the order of the overdrives - either Horseman before Morning Star or vice versa. Additional functions can also be activated via the two toggle switches on the top:
- BF/TB switch: choice between buffer bypass and true bypass
- IFS/NORMAL switch: Activates the INPUT FET STAGE (IFS) to amplify the input signal and drive the amp more intensively
With a weight of only 440 grams and a width of 115 mm, the pedal fits easily on any pedalboard. Thanks to its low power consumption of just 52 mA, it is also ideal for mobile setups.
