OKKO TwinSonic MKII

The TwinSonic MKII brings back OKKO's classic TwinSonic and takes it to a new level. What we have here are two OD circuits that can be used independently or stacked together.Combining the two opens up a lot of possibilities, you can go all the way from edge to breakup into heavy vintage distortion or fuzz territory.

The blue channel is the original TwinSonic circuit, a discrete OD with a fat, open, gritty sound like a cranked up vintage amp. It is incredibly dynamic and can be perfectly adjusted with the guitar's volume control.The redesigned red channel is a transparent overdrive with a slightly softer gain structure that can be perfectly combined with the blue side or used as a stand-alone overdrive to add some dirt and overtones to your basic sound. The gain range extends from sparkling clean to dynamically singing mid-gain overdrive.

Both channels have the same controls.Gain and Level need no explanation, VOICE changes the overall EQ character of each channel from a wide and full sound on the left to a tighter, punchier sound with pronounced mids on the right. HI-CUT controls the treble/presence. The MODE switch changes the proportion of bass frequencies for each side. These effective but intuitive controls allow you to dial in the perfect sound for just about any guitar/amp combination.

The TwinSonic MkII is powered by 18 volts (internal charge pump circuit, no special power supply required), providing greater headroom and dynamics. It can be used before an amplifier or as a preamp for a power amp or amp simulation.
