The Ortega R20GSNRG 4/4 concert guitar, including a gig bag, is handcrafted in Spain. Technical Details – High-Quality Tonewoods and Comfortable Playability

The top of the Ortega R20GSNRG 4/4 concert guitar, including gig bag, is made of solid cedar. This tonewood is particularly prized in classical guitar making because it offers a quick response and a warm, full sound. Cedar truly reveals its characteristic richness of tone, especially when playing fingerstyle techniques and classical music.

The back and sides are made of red eucalyptus, an exceptional tonewood with outstanding resonance properties. This wood ensures clear projection as well as a balanced tonal profile with powerful bass, warm mids, and brilliant treble. At the same time, the wood’s distinctive grain gives the guitar a particularly elegant appearance.

The guitar’s neck is made of African mahogany and is intentionally designed to be narrower. With a nut width of 48 mm, the Ortega R20GSNRG 4/4 classical guitar (includes gig bag) offers a particularly comfortable playing feel. This design is ideal for guitarists with smaller hands or for musicians switching from an acoustic-style guitar to a classical guitar.

The rosewood fingerboard ensures a pleasant feel and precise tone response. There are a total of 19 frets, allowing for a versatile musical range—from classical pieces to modern fingerstyle arrangements.

With a scale length of 650 mm, the guitar offers the classic dimensions of a concert guitar. This scale length ensures balanced string tension and a familiar playing feel.

The high-quality chrome tuners, featuring an elegant lyre design with white tuning pegs, allow for precise tuning and ensure stable pitch. At the same time, they enhance the instrument’s classic appearance.

The Ortega R20GSNRG 4/4 concert guitar, including a gig bag, comes factory-equipped with Knobloch EDQ 34.0 MED/HIGH Tension strings. These high-quality strings support dynamic sound projection and ensure a clear, balanced tone.

The maple binding adds elegant visual accents along the body while also protecting the guitar’s edges. Combined with the natural high-gloss finish, this creates a particularly premium appearance.

The package also includes a practical Pro GigBag. This allows you to transport the guitar safely and reliably protect it from external influences—ideal for lessons, rehearsals, or performances.
