Manufacturer – Ortega Guitars and Innovative Classical Guitars

Ortega Guitars is one of the leading manufacturers in the field of acoustic instruments and is known for innovative approaches to guitar making. The brand combines traditional construction methods with modern technologies to develop instruments that excel in both sound and functionality.

Especially in the field of classical guitars, Ortega offers numerous models tailored to different needs—from classic instruments to modern stage models with built-in electronics.

The Ortega RCE24RO concert guitar, including a gig bag, is an excellent example of this philosophy. It combines high-quality materials, innovative wood treatment, and modern electronics in a versatile instrument.

Technical Details – Heat-Treated Woods and Built-in Electronics

A distinctive feature of the Ortega RCE24RO classical guitar with gig bag is its heat-treated woods. In this process, specific parts of the wood are heated under controlled conditions, altering their structure. This results in a tonal character reminiscent of an instrument that has been played in over the years—open, resonant, and exceptionally dynamic.

The top is made of solid aged spruce. This tonewood is particularly popular in classical guitar making because it delivers a clear response, high dynamics, and brilliant highs. The thermal treatment also gives the top a particularly open and mature tone.

The back and sides are made of Pao Ferro, a tonewood with excellent resonance properties. It ensures well-defined bass, clear mids, and good sound projection.

The neck, crafted from aged maple, offers a sturdy construction and a comfortable playing feel. Together with the fingerboard made of aged jatoba, it creates a comfortable feel that enables precise fingering and smooth movements across the fingerboard.

With a scale length of 650 mm, the guitar features the classic dimensions of a concert guitar. This scale length ensures balanced string tension and a familiar playing feel. The nut width of 51 mm provides ample space for clean finger positions and is ideal for classical playing techniques.

The integrated cutaway allows for comfortable access to the higher frets. This makes it easy to play even more challenging passages in the upper fretboard area.

Another highlight is the integrated Ortega Magus Pro/G pickup system. This system ensures natural sound transmission and allows for precise control of the amplified sound. As a result, the guitar is ideal for stage performances, studio recordings, or band rehearsals.

The elegant walnut body binding adds stylish accents along the body and underscores the guitar’s high-quality character. The natural matte finish further enhances its sophisticated appearance and provides a pleasant feel.

The Ortega RCE24RO classical guitar, including a gig bag, comes factory-strung with ORTEGA NYP44H strings. These strings enhance the instrument’s tonal dynamics and deliver a clear, balanced tone.

The package also includes a practical gig bag. This allows you to transport the guitar safely and reliably protect it from external influences—ideal for lessons, rehearsals, or performances.
