Pioneer DJ OPUS Quad DJ Controller Product Details
Pioneer DJ OPUS Quad: The ultimate all-in-one DJ system
The Pioneer DJ OPUS Quad takes DJ performances to a new level, combining elegant design with innovative technology. This all-in-one system offers stand-alone four-deck playback, advanced effects and multiple connectivity options for a flexible and immersive DJ experience. With its refined aesthetics and powerful functionality, the OPUS Quad is a true milestone in the world of DJ equipment.
StreamingDirectPlay: New possibilities for seamless DJing
The Pioneer DJ OPUS Quad and its counterpart, the OMNIS-DUO, now support the revolutionary StreamingDirectPlay function. With this extension, DJs can directly access extensive streaming libraries such as Beatport and TIDAL and seamlessly incorporate the latest tracks into their performances. The feature integrates BPM and grid analysis information so DJs can easily use Beat Sync and Quantize to mix tracks with precision. This enhancement makes the OPUS Quad even more flexible, allowing DJs to respond to the audience and integrate spontaneous requests into their sets with ease.
Design and ergonomics
The OPUS Quad impresses with its unique beam-shaped design. The angled top plate, the curved front edge and the matt black surface with earth-colored slats not only give the device a modern aesthetic, but also ensure maximum ergonomics. The inclined housing shape (5-degree angle) enables comfortable placement, while the textured surface and the recesses of the jog wheels provide optimum grip. The illuminated jog wheel rings adapt to the individually assignable colors of the decks so that you always have an overview.
Stand-alone four-deck playback
For the first time, Pioneer DJ offers the ability to control four decks simultaneously with the OPUS Quad. This stand-alone function allows DJs to play four tracks independently of each other, make preparations or add spontaneous requests to the set. Thanks to the color-coordinated illumination of the jog wheels, it is always clear which deck is active. This innovative feature makes the OPUS Quad the ideal choice for creative performances.
Easy-to-use professional effects
The OPUS Quad has a wide range of effects that allow DJs to personalize their sound and wow the audience. The XY pad can be used to intuitively control beat FX parameters and cut-off frequencies, while the smooth echo function can be activated with a fader or knob. Each channel is also equipped with Sound Color FX that open up additional sound possibilities. Thanks to these advanced effect options, every performance becomes a unique experience.
Flexible media support
The OPUS Quad supports various media sources and playing styles. DJs can play music from USB sticks, SSDs, laptops with DJ software or wirelessly from smartphones via Wi-Fi® or Bluetooth®. The rekordbox and Serato compatibility offers plug-and-play functionality, so no additional license is required. In addition, the StreamingDirectPlay function now allows access to streaming services such as Beatport or TIDAL, giving DJs the freedom to always integrate the latest tracks into their sets.
Ergonomic user interface
With a 10.1-inch touchscreen, an electrostatic touch module and a smart rotary selector, tracks can be found faster than ever. Features such as touch preview, playlist bank and precise navigation make browsing through large music libraries easy and efficient. The deck layout includes eight hot cue buttons above each full-size jog wheel, keeping all important information and functions in view.
High-quality sound and zone-based audio playback
The OPUS Quad delivers exceptional sound quality thanks to a 32-bit D/A converter from ESS Technology, which minimizes losses during transmission and conversion. The zone output makes it possible to play different music in different rooms - perfect for events with multiple areas. Whether background music in a lounge area or energetic tracks in the main room, the OPUS Quad offers maximum flexibility.
Conclusion: A revolutionary DJ system
The Pioneer DJ OPUS Quad combines design, functionality and versatility in a single unit. With its stand-alone four-deck playback, advanced effects and intuitive operation, it is the perfect choice for professional DJs. The high-quality finish, impressive sound quality and support for numerous media sources make it an indispensable tool for creative performances.
