Technical details of the Pro-Ject Debut PRO S

The electronically controlled synchronous motor drives the turntable and guarantees a stable speed. Thanks to the electronic speed control, 33, 45 and 78 rpm can be switched easily via a toggle switch. The round belt supplied for 78 rpm also enables shellac records to be played.

The 300 mm die-cast aluminium platter is fitted with a TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) damping ring, which minimizes resonances and reduces synchronization fluctuations. Its anti-magnetic properties make it ideal for use with MC cartridges. The Record Puck E, which is included in the scope of delivery, provides additional damping and stability.

A special highlight of the Debut PRO S is the 10" S-Shape aluminum tonearm, which is equipped with an SME plug. Its combination of rigidity and damping ensures outstanding sound quality. In addition, both VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle) and azimuth are fully adjustable, allowing for individual customization.

The aluminum sub-platter has been manufactured with the highest precision and offers improved tolerances compared to standard sub-platters. This contributes to an even smoother rotation and thus to an exact sound reproduction.
