The GX Series - the new entry into the legendary QSC amplifier technology - meets all the requirements that have made QSC one of the world's leading power amplifier manufacturers over the past 40 years.
The GX Series includes two models, GX3 and GX5, which are perfectly suited to the needs of musicians and DJs due to their rugged design, versatile connectivity and unbeatable price/performance ratio.
At QSC, quality is a top priority. Company founder Pat Quilter, alias "Dr. Q", was significantly involved in the development of the GX series. A survey of around 2000 users carried out in advance provided the engineers with information about the exact needs and wishes of these customers, which were incorporated into the development accordingly. The team around Dr. Q succeeded in reducing material costs and weight and at the same time significantly improving performance and design. The result is an attractive exterior, easy connection and operation and excellent audio quality.
QSC GuardRail technology protects both power amplifiers and loudspeakers from damage due to overtemperature or overload - without switching off completely. When excessive clipping or overheating is imminent, GuardRail automatically reduces the gain; playback remains virtually constant and the speakers are protected - unprofessional distortion or switching off the system are a thing of the past.
The GX Series supports the operation of subwoofers and satellites with an integrated, switchable crossover. It splits the input signal of the input channel 1 to the two output channels 1 and 2. On the output channel 1 the frequency range from 20 Hz - 100 Hz for the subwoofer is reproduced, on channel 2 the range from 100 Hz to 20 kHz for the satellite. The gain setting on the front panel can be used to adjust the relationship between subwoofer and satellite individually.
The GX series offers all common connectors, both on the input and output side.
GX amplifiers are perfect for the most commonly used speakers.
