The direct-drive DC motor in the Turn X ensures ultra-precise and stable speeds. The high torque guarantees not only particularly short start-up times but also only minimal deviations of only +/-0.03%. The Turn X shows its advantages in fully manual operation with electronic brake and a smooth-running start/stop rotary switch, which is also used to select the speed (33, 45 and 78 RPM).

Balance in optima forma

A solid aluminum block forms the basis for the record player's precision-machined die-cast platter. With a solid weight of 2.1 kg, a diameter of 332 mm and a massive thickness of 22.5 mm, it guarantees perfectly balanced running. The dampening rubber coating on the back of the platter and the rubber mat included in the delivery ensure optimal resonance control and isolation properties.

Audiophile tonearm

The statically balanced S-shaped tonearm features height adjustment for adjusting the azimuth (angle the cartridge needle makes to the record) and vertical tracking angle (VTA). The tonearm design not only ensures free and smooth movement, but also ensures the best possible performance of the cartridge.

Last but not least, to ensure optimal signal transmission and counteract corrosion, the Turn X scores with a gold-plated, high-resolution phono output and a ground connection that is also gold-plated. The power switch with ultra-low noise isolation also minimizes potential interference.
