The NT5 MP B stereo set is RØDE's classic small diaphragm microphone in a special matte black enamel finish. The 11.8cm cardioid condenser microphone's gold-coated 1/2" diaphragm, combined with the high quality components on the SMD circuit board, guarantees the highest possible transmission quality. Like most RØDE microphones, the NT5 features a subtle presence boost that adds a silky sheen to the recorded signal.

The NT5s are ideal for string or choir recordings and as overheads. Due to the robust workmanship, the good-natured NT5s are also frequently used in sound reinforcement applications. Incidentally, the NT5s deliver everything you would expect from a good small-diaphragm microphone in a classic design, namely a crystal-clear and well-balanced sound for snare and hi-hat, for woodwinds of all kinds as well as acoustic stringed instruments and percussion, in short: for all sound sources with important transients. The NT5-MP Black is supplied in an ABS moulded case with two windscreens (WS5) and two stand clamps (RM5), and is manufactured by RØDE in Australia.
