TritonAudio FetHead Germanium

With the TritonAudio FetHead Germanium you get a high-quality inline microphone preamplifier. It delivers punch and a direct, big germanium sound for ribbon and dynamic microphones and adds classic harmonic germanium overtones. The oldest transistor designs from Neve, EMI, Telefunken and Fairchild often used germanium transistors, which are still in demand today. Accordingly, the TritonAudio FetHead Germanium delivers a sound reminiscent of extremely expensive vintage microphone preamps. Some ribbon microphones do not tolerate phantom power. The FetHead circuit requires 48 V phantom power, but does not pass it on to the microphone, which means that ribbon microphones are protected when used with the FetHead.
