The Vox Cambridge 50 is based on Virtual Element Technology (VET), which makes it effortless to conjure up fat, convincing sounds: The overdrive, super-fast response and dynamics draw level with tube amps and seem absolutely authentic. In combination with the state-of-the-art Nutube in the preamp, which delivers the typical sound characteristics of a tube, the sound of this amp is completely convincing. By the way, the Nutube is much more energy efficient, robust and lighter than the classic tube.

In addition, the amp's open-back wooden cabinet and brilliant 12" Celestion speaker provide crisp, defined sound dispersion. In addition to the legendary VOX sound, this amp also offers high-gain and numerous other amp models, as well as a line input, various effect types, and many convenient features, such as an integrated USB audio interface.
