Waldorf Iridium Keyboard Synthesizer

The Iridium Keyboard features a new FATAR TP/8SK keyboard with 49 semi-weighted polyphonic aftertouch keys, a first for the Iridium Keyboard. The expanded front panel offers one-button operation per function, greatly enhancing the workflow of this high-quality synthesizer, and provides six freely programmable macro keys that can be used to define functions from a wide range of features for additional performance control.

When playing the Iridium keyboard live, this allows for impressive sonic changes, as the polyphonic aftertouch can be used individually for each note played. In other words, the pressure of each finger affects the individual keys, creating individual modulations per key, for example, while with monophonic aftertouch all notes played respond in the same way.
