Technical Details of the Yamaha CG102

The CG102’s top is made of spruce, which ensures clear and balanced sound projection. The back and sides are crafted from nato, a wood prized for its warmth and resonance. The nato neck, combined with the rosewood fingerboard, offers a comfortable feel and excellent playability—ideal for long practice sessions or live performances.

The bridge is also made of rosewood, which not only complements the guitar’s appearance but also contributes to optimal vibration transmission. The scale length of 650 mm (25.59 inches) and the nut width of 52 mm provide a classic playing feel suitable for a variety of hand sizes. With a body depth of 94–100 mm, the guitar delivers a balanced volume. The chrome-plated tuners ensure precise tuning, while the high-gloss natural finish elegantly highlights the wood’s grain.
