The compact body ensures comfortable handling and is particularly well-suited for fingerpicking and dynamic playing. Reliable materials and a well-thought-out design make the Yamaha FSX820C Natural an instrument that performs equally well in the rehearsal room and on stage. Anyone looking for an electro-acoustic guitar with a clearly defined sound and playing style will find a precisely described model here.

Compact Concert Body with Cutaway

The Yamaha FSX820C Natural features a Concert body with a cutaway. This body shape is one of the instrument’s key features and ensures a comfortable playing experience. The description highlights that the smaller, flat body—with a depth of 90 to 110 mm—is particularly comfortable to play. This design offers a compelling foundation, especially for those who value ergonomics and playing feel.

The solid spruce top forms the tonal foundation of the instrument, while the back and sides are crafted from mahogany. According to the description, this combination of materials ensures a balanced and warm tonal character. This is complemented by black binding, the “Natural” color, and a gloss finish. Thus, the Yamaha FSX820C Natural is clearly and comprehensively described in terms of both its construction and its visual design.

Neck, Fretboard, and Playing Comfort

The neck of the Yamaha FSX820C Natural is made of nato and features a matte finish. This information regarding the material and finish complements the body construction by providing a clearly defined foundation for a comfortable playing experience. Precise neck specifications are particularly important for a compact concert acoustic guitar, and these are clearly outlined here.

The fingerboard is made of rosewood and has a fingerboard radius of 15.75" or 400 mm. It also features a scale length of 25" or 634 mm, 20 frets, a urethane nut, and a nut width of 43 mm. These specifications complete the technical profile of the Yamaha FSX820C Natural in terms of the neck and fingerboard, making the instrument’s playing characteristics immediately apparent.

Professional Electronics with SYSTEM66 and SRT Pickup

A key feature of the Yamaha FSX820C Natural is its electronic setup. The instrument is equipped with SYSTEM66 and an SRT pickup. This combination is one of the instrument’s essential technical features and clearly defines the guitar’s amplified focus. This setup is particularly relevant for stage and studio use, as it enables stable and reliable plug-in performance.

Additionally, a built-in tuner is included. As a result, the Yamaha FSX820C Natural offers practical electronics that effectively complement its acoustic design. The product description emphasizes that this system is particularly well-suited for anyone who values a clear and natural sound. The result is an electro-acoustic guitar with clearly defined stage readiness and modern features.

Bridge, Hardware, and String Set

The Yamaha FSX820C Natural features a rosewood bridge. This is complemented by a urea bridge insert and black plastic bridge pins with white dots. These features are among the explicitly listed hardware characteristics and contribute to the instrument’s resonance as well as its well-defined specifications. The rosewood bridge, in particular, is highlighted in the description as enhancing resonance.

It also features TM29T-type chrome-plated die-cast tuners and Yamaha FS50BT strings in .012–.053 gauge. Together with the Natural color and the gloss finish, this results in a precisely defined overall profile. For those seeking an electro-acoustic acoustic guitar with a solid spruce top, mahogany body, SYSTEM66 electronics, and a compact concert body style, the Yamaha FSX820C Natural offers a clearly defined model for demanding applications.
